Please keep in mind that Cardinals can be skittish and it may take them a little longer to adjust to the Dove Guard. Continue feeding the birds and they'll eventually warm up to the new accessory.

Here are instruction on how to attach it to your Sky Cafe bird feeder.

Dove Guard Instructions:

1. Place the wire mesh guard onto the tray with the flared end up.

2. Loop the 6 black plastic ties through each slot on the outer edge of the Sky Cafe tray and around the bottom wire of the guard.

3. Connect the plastic tie to itself, pull tight, then cut off the end fairly close to the knot for a finished look.
