The Sky Cafe Dove Guard is the perfect solution for unwanted doves and other large birds! This is a favorite Sky Cafe Bird Feeder accessory in Texas for deterring those pesky white winged doves. It also stops other large birds and hinders grackles from sweeping away seed.
12" in diameter. Comes with attaching strap locks to attach to tray. Made from vinyl coated steel. This is an accessory for the Sky Cafe Bird Feeder. *Lifetime Warranty against squirrel damage* *Made in the U.S.A.*
Please keep in mind that Cardinals can be skittish, and it may take them a little longer to adjust to the Dove Guard. Continue feeding the birds and they'll eventually warm up to the new accessory.
Dove Guard Instructions:
1. Place the wire mesh guard onto the tray with the flared end up.
2. Loop the 6 black plastic ties through each slot on the outer edge of the Sky Cafe tray and around the bottom wire of the guard.
3. Connect the plastic tie to itself, pull tight, then cut off the end fairly close to the knot for a finished look.

I was seriously going to replace my Sky Cafe had I not found their dove guard. Doves were perched and devouring as much feed as possible. Now only the smaller birds can feed which should make the feed go further.

Squirrel puzzle solved with squirrel baffle previously purchased but then came the doves. The sky cafe and dove guard allows the smaller birds to feed. Great product and I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Works as advertised. Doves may still eat a little, but they can’t land and throw food over like before. Bird food now stays in feeder much longer and other birds get a chance to eat

Easy assemble and doves have been unable to get to the food. Less waste and more seed for the small birds.

Wonderful! Took the songbirds 2 days to determine it wasn't some sort of trap, but the finches were the guinea pigs and now cardinals, wrens, titmouse and all are busy feeding.
