This large bird feeder opens onto a wide tray that provides birds a comfortable place to feed but keeps squirrels out. Cardinals, chickadees, tufted titmice, woodpeckers and many other songbirds gather together on this full view round bird feeder. Cardinals, who may hesitate to land on narrow spots, are eager to land on this circular platform.
The large 17" diameter squirrel proof dome protects seed from rain and snow. Its large capacity 1 1/2" gallon bucket means fewer trips to refill. My husband and I have purchase two of these in the past. They are located away from close proximity trees and are out in full sun. Previous feeders have deteriorated from sun exposure and weather, resulting in broken pieces. This is our third Sky Cafe. We're hoping the new material is truly more weather resistant and lasts longer than the older material.

Squirrels have abandoned the back yard

Our cocky squirrel left after several failed attempts. We're thrilled that we're not feeding him/them anymore. However, the Cardinals have also given up on it. They circled and flew "at" the feeder but we've yet to see them land & eat. The smaller birds are thoroughly enjoying it but the Cardinals gave up and have taken over the feeder in the front yard. I hope they'll figure it out!

We have a variety of birds use the Sky Cafe Bird Feeder. It is such a pleasure watching the birds. We do have squirrels, but they have been unable to bother this feeder.
